EverymanHYBRID (sometimes abbreviated as EMH) is an ARG video series set in the Slender Man Mythos. It was the second of many video series featuring the Slender Man and served as an inspiration to many that followed. It was also the first Slender Man video series to feature high levels of interactivity and audience paticipation, as well as the first to include the Rake. EverymanHYBRID is considered to be one of the "big three" video series, alongside Marble Hornets and TribeTwelve.
Overview[]
Three friends, Jeff, Vinny, and Evan, start a fitness series on their YouTube channel. As an Easter egg for horror fans, they insert a fake Slender Man into the background in some of their videos. However, they begin to notice appearances of said entity that they can't account for. The three later learn of their apparent connections with a doctor from the past and become involved with not only the Slender Man, but also a woman running a strange blog, a mysterious entity that calls himself HABIT, and a feral beast known as the Rake.
